Oakhanger Angling Club

Oakhanger Angling Club has been established for over 40 years. With 4 different fishing venues they supply some of the best angling facilities for people in Hampshire and the surrounding area. Oakhanger Angling Club was formed in the 1960s and was originally based in Oakhanger. Over the years it has grown to its present size and can now boast four first class ponds/lakes catering for all types of angling; for all types of members. Kingsley Pond is a mixed fishery for all ability including juniors. Bakers Pond (Mill Lane) likewise; and has a good head of fish. Short heath Common is more of a specimen lake with some very good examples of various species and Rookery Reservoir is mainly a carp water; but does hold a large population of roach and perch; and good pike fishing in the winter months. Please check the venue rules before fishing commences. Also on the ticket is a stretch of the River Wey at Mill Lane where a good bag of Dace/Roach/Chub and Trout can be caught.
