Tooman Angling

One of Irelands best-known family fisheries, Tooman enjoys a commanding position overlooking the Rinn River in County Leitrim (for which Tooman also has rights to fish). Managed by its current owners for the last two decades, Tooman was last stocked with 12,000 British Carp in 2005 and now boasts some of Irelands finest angling sport fish including Golden Tench, Roach, Golden Rudd, Gudgeon, Golden Orfe and Ghost Carp. With an average success of 3 to 5 pounds, the Tooman lakes are also known to frequently return much higher weights ranging from 8 to 28 pounds. With 120 competitions per year, including three major festivals, Clubs travel to Tooman from across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK including Lock Side, East Belfast, Lurgon, ESB and many others. In addition to the competition lake, Tooman maintains a smaller pleasure lake and specimen lake. The property also has a stock pond above the Fishery.
