Lymm Angling Club

Lymm Angling Club is one of the premier angling clubs in the UK.

Based in the north-west of England - the club has a variety of waters that cater for specimen, pleasure and match anglers alike.

Whether it's a still-water filled with either carp or mixed coarse fish, a specialist water with a small head of specimen sized fish or a river teaming with Barbel, Grayling, Chub or Trout. Lymm Angling Club has waters for you.

The club caters for a range of ages from juniors through to pensioners. Its goal is to provide as many fishing waters as possible for its members whilst at the same time maintaining high standards, both in terms of the fisheries it supports and the members themselves.

Each water is looked after by its own Water Keeper who monitors and maintains the venue with the backing of the club's highly skilled estate maintenance team. The club actively manages its waters with wildlife conservation in mind via habitat construction, tree planting, bird boxes etc.

To assist with fishery management, arrival slips and catch returns are completed by members at all still waters. Night fishing is allowed on most waters and included in the price of each adult membership is the option to take a spouse or partner and two children (juniors).

Club membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Selected waters are closed for a specified period each year except to those members who either complete a set amount of hours on approved work party tasks or who pay for a work party exemption stamp.

We trust this information gives you an insight and hope you join us and enjoy many pleasant hours on our waters.
