Briarcroft Fishery

This self-catering holiday lodge overlooks the smaller of our two fishing lakes on a quiet rural site in the beautiful Wyre countryside.

The fishery and timber holiday lodge are located in the picturesque village of St Michael`s on Wyre with its ancient church and riverside walks, part of the longer Wyre Way walk, which can be accessed approximately 100 metres from the door of the lodge.

Briarcroft Fishery is a mixed coarse fishery stocking Mirror and Common Carp to 25 lbs, Crucian Carp to 3 lbs, Perch to 3.5 lbs, Roach to 2 lbs, Bream to 7 lbs, Tench to 7 lbs. Also Rudd and Chub.

The fishery is set in the picturesque village of St Michaels on Wyre in the heart of rural Lancashire's Wyre Valley and consists of two coarse fishing lakes of 1 acre and 0.5 acre, both stocked with the above fish.

The fishery also benefits from the presence of the River Wyre at the rear of the property, which the owners have the fishing rights for. (Please note that some people may find the banks difficult to access)

Fishing is strictly between 6.30am and 9pm or dusk, whichever is soonest. (Please note that we do not allow night fishing)

The fishery is now private membership only and we do not sell day tickets.
